A piece created by The Pranks acts as the key visual for the Enoshima Art Festival official website. The Pranks, along with the writer Margaret Boy, were also commissioned to create “Dancing with the Celestial Maiden,” an illustrated tale inspired by the legend of the celestial maiden of Enoshima.

Second Enoshima Art Festival
Booklets of the picture book “Dreams You Dream When You Grow Up”(2019 edition) will be sold exclusively at the Nuit Blanche Kyoto 2019 venue at the special price of ¥1,500 (plus tax).
The A5-sized booklet is in both English and Japanese and comprises 58 pages. It features 20 offcut-printed original pictures. With the addition of “Boy growing up” on the front cover, this edition has been long-awaited by The Pranks fans.
Nuit Blanche KYOTO is held every fall by Kyoto City and the Institut Francais Kansai. The Pranks will participate in the modern art festival; their exhibit, “Dialogue compliqué par The Pranks”, comprising original pictures, lithographs and a Japanese washi paper installation, will be shown at the Sfera Exhibition. We hope you enjoy a real dialogue with these works.
